When work calls…again.

Ham Tour Truck.jpg

On January 20, 2020, after only two weeks of being back home from a full year of being in Chicago for work with “Hamilton”, I was on another plane, this time heading to Florida to work with my third production of the show. I didn’t expect to be sent on the road again so quickly, but when my job is designed for me to work with any of the five U.S. productions of the show, travel is always on the horizon. And though I’d been with the show for more than three years at this point, arriving at the venue and seeing the logo of the show plastered on the side of this truck felt like it was the first day. I knew that feeling would be important to remember on the days when I’d been working for hours on end and was in the unfamiliar spaces of a new theatre or hotel that felt nothing like home to me.
